When installing long distances of pipes and cables across fields and grassland the vibratory Ditch Witch Mole Plough is an efficient method of installation (i.e. trenching). The vibrating plough attachment is fitted to the back of our Ditchwitch RT120 Quad which pulls a chute blade through the ground. The pipe/cable is inserted down the chute on the blade and deposited at the required depth. If installed quickly and efficiently with no stress on the pipe or cable.
MDownes Earthworks are based in Cheshire although we cover all areas. Our dedicated team are able to assist you on specific requirements and give you accurate costings. Depending on the work required a site visit is highly recommended.
We used the Ditch Witch Mole Plough for one of our clients – Bolesworth Estates, in preparation for the Bolesworth International Showjumping based at Bolesworth Castle, installing water supply to the show ground.
We also provided specialist services for the renovation of the spectacular L’Albatros course at Le Golf National in France – hosts for the biennial Ryder Cup match in 2018. We’ve helped shape the Brabazon Course at the Belfry too, and the Evian Resort Golf Club, overlooking Lake Geneva (pictured left). We have been working with leading golf course contractors European Golf Design for the last 10 years. The Ditch Witch Mole Plough is a cost effective and efficient alternative to digging a trench.
We have the skills and machines to carry out all size projects Nationally. We also specialise in a wide range of other equipment enabling us to complete most groundwork tasks – whatever the terrain, weather or ground conditions. Many of our machines are available for manned or unmanned hire also. We can be flexible of hire periods; we are very aware that projects may run over the projected timescale.
