Today our laser screed machine has been used at a farm in Beeston to level the concrete bases for the bays as shown in the images below. The machine has an automatic laser control system that ensures an accurate level finish through the use of electro-hydraulic controls. Laser receivers attached at each end of the screed head receive a signal from a transmitter multiple times per second providing complete automatic control to the finished floor level.
Where large pours are to be carried out to a tight tolerance, our Somero laser screed flooring machine is definitely the machine to use.Laser Screed technology produces slab-on-grade concrete floors that are flatter and stronger than any comparative floors produced by using conventional methods.
The Laser Screed features a self-levelling, 8-foot wide screeding head that is mounted on a powerful 20-foot telescopic boom. Laser Screeds are setting new standards for concrete floors. In addition to being laser precise and mechanically powerful, they are fast.
That means more floor is placed daily and production schedules are satisfied or actually shortened. Concrete mixes containing steel fibres can also be screeded with ease. Fast track production, high quality and cost effectiveness are all direct benefits of using this method.
If you have a large concrete floor that requires the laser screed machine – contact us for further information.
